Shabby Chic is just as it sounds. The "shabby" comes from flea markets where you can find funky old antiques with a delightfully distressed look. The "chic" part comes from the ultra feminine touches that set it apart from traditional antiques. Shabby chic design incorporate a lot of light, neutral colors. Also look for distressed paint, chandeliers, and anything with roses in it. ~MWAH! Christie O.
