What is a hidden gem in Tahoe?
Two of our favorite lesser-known places are Spooner State Park and Thunderbird Lodge. Spooner State Park offers hiking and biking along the historic Flume Trail with breathtaking views. The Thunderbird Lodge is a historic mansion and estate on Tahoe’s north shore. Built by eccentric Captain Whittell in the 1930s, it boasts stunning architecture, secret tunnels, and even a hidden card house. It’s a unique glimpse into Tahoe’s opulent past.

Our Lakeside Ballroom boasts stunning views, while the Regency Ballroom exudes timeless elegance.
