Can't find a library? Use a Classic Mountain Lodge

When I was eight, my greatest fantasy was to be locked in a library overnight, where only I could roam the stacks discovering new ideas. The desire was rooted in my long-standing wish to have my very own library. In the years since, I've fully cultivated my inner bibliophile. As much as I love technology, I only feel truly comfortable surrounded by books, with my (compact) Oxford English Dictionary prominently displayed on my old-school wooden desk. So it's no surprise that one of my favorite themes is a library or book themed wedding. If you can't find an old library in your mountain town, the warm old-world feel of a great library, can easily be transported to a classic mountain lodge. Those warm wood walls and strong timber beams can easily evoke bookish charm with the addition of paper and book decor. Add a little romance with delicate peonies or soft blue hydrangeas. colorful Library inspirationFirst Row: Gabriel Ryan Photographers via Green Wedding Shoes | Ruffled Blog Second Row: Invitation Crush | Holland Photo Arts via Style Me Pretty old world library inspirationFirst Row: Once Wed | JL Photographica via OK Now What Bride Second Row: Holland Photo Arts via Style Me Pretty | Holland Photo Arts via Style Me Pretty | JL Photographica via OK Now What Bride
