Today we have the real wedding of Adam & Camille from the very talented Heidi Huber Photography. This beautiful and organic stunner took place at the Edgewood Golf Course with our beautiful lake as one of the many jaw dropping backgrounds of the soiree!
From the Bride – “Adam and I envisioned our wedding to be modern and natural (sustainable). We’re both in the industry of Landscape Architecture, and the whole idea of sustainability was something that truly mattered to us. Aesthetically we’ve always been attracted to modern designs that have a sense of comfort. Simple and elegant was our goal. We envisioned our day do have yellow and pewter as our main colors. We used the two colors all throughout our wedding invitation, cupcakes, programs, and stationary. Adam and I love succulents, and we thought it was the perfect material and color palette to go with our color theme. In going along with the theme of sustainability, we made sure that our succulent centerpieces were a “living” centerpiece, that our guests could bring home. We designed the planter boxes and the cake stand and had Adam’s best man build all the custom pieces. We selected four different wedding favors that we felt would not be wasteful (re-useable bags, a blend of our favorite tea, our favorite bath bombs, and two different types of “grow-your-own” herbs). We chose Lake Tahoe because we wanted a destination wedding that was near the water and would provide our guests with lots of activities throughout the weekend.”
