Nothing says we’re excited about winter like posting a stunning winter wedding. Especially when it’s so glamorously captured by Emma Paul Photography. So, without further ado, here are the highlights of Sarah and Thomas’ snowy elopement!

The couple met on the dating app Hinge, which hooks you up with friends of friends. They had a mutual friend named Nicole that linked them together. However, Sarah only hit “like” because of Cascade, an Alaskan Malamute. Unfortunately, Cascade passed away before their wedding, so naturally, their vows included a meaningful emotional tribute to Cascade.

Sarah and Thomas wanted their day as straightforward as possible. So, they did their first look outside the hotel, where they got ready, hopped in a limo with their immediate family, and headed to their ceremony. Her brother officiated, which made their ceremony even more meaningful.

According to Emma, if there was a gold medal for pivoting on your wedding day, it would go to Sarah and Thomas. It was important for the couple to be in the snow during their wedding. And boy, did mother nature deliver active snow their entire day! Emma explains, “We originally planned to head to Emerald Bay, but the road closed when we got there. So, we jumped the ‘road closed’ sign, and they just got married right there in the middle of the road. The snow made everything looks so magical that you’d never know it was the middle of a road!”

Congratulations on tying the knot, Sarah and Thomas!
