A Lakeside Microwedding for Two Longtime Sweethearts

Sarah and Leslie's lakeside private estate wedding proves that small can still be very special!

Lake Tahoe is where Les first said "I love you" ten years ago and therefore was the perfect place for this longtime couple to tie the knot.

After downsizing from 150 guests to just 28 due to COVID, they absolutely believe that an intimate celebration created the wedding day of their dreams.

Opting for a subtle blue and white color palette allowed the lake to shine the backdrop to their ceremony and outdoor reception.

Classically romantic green and white florals by Love and Lupines adorned a wood ceremony arch and six socially distanced dinner tables, as well as the bride's gorgeous bouquet. Their guests enjoyed a creative summer menu by As You Wish Catering.

Asked for their favorite parts of the day Leslie was quick to say "seeing Sarah walk down the aisle in her dress" (she looked stunning) while Sarah could not decide between hearing Les' vows and dancing the night away courtesy of a personalized soundtrack by Music in Tahoe. All of the dreamy details were captured by Sweet Poppy Photography.

Like many 2020 couples, they plan to celebrate with a big Lake Tahoe anniversary party when it is safe!
