Taking A Leap of Love At Squaw Valley

Leap Day only comes every four years, and the love of your life only comes once, so it seems fitting to tie the knot on Leap Day, right? We sure think so, and so did Squaw Valley! Leap of Love took place on February 29th at the base of Squaw's iconic lift, KT-22, with 27 couples tying the knot with Meredith Richmond officiating. Lots of laughter and tons of love filled up the valley that day and photographer Holly Shankland shared with us some incredible images.

She also spent her day chasing around Sabrina and Leo, two traveling nurses who decided eloping at Squaw was the perfect way to make their love official. Not only did Sabrina wear a rocking dress, but she did it while shredding the mountain on her snowboard. They even shared cake on the chairlift! We can't get enough of their amazing photos and are now ready to go skiing in a wedding dress!
