Intimate Love In Truckee, California

This intimate wedding from Gillian Shenon Event Production and Adriana Klas Photography really showcases the historic and scenic setting the Truckee area has to offer. The multiple locations the couple used really capture the romantic and charming small town vibe of Truckee. Personal touches such as a pie from Ikedas (located down the hill from Truckee) and the bride and grooms causal mountain style really made this backyard wedding the perfect mountain wedding.

Paloma and Justin got married at a family property alongside the Truckee River; the place where they first met. They spent the day meandering around Old Town taking photos, enjoying each other's company and visiting the Cottonwood Hilltop Bar for a summertime Mai Tai. They then gathered in the garden for a spiritual smudging ceremony with the burning of sage, and exchange their vows with hands joined by mala beads, as a reminder of their intentions.

Following their ceremony, Paloma and Justin made their way up to the deck for an afternoon lunch overlooking the river. Afterwards they cut their own version of a wedding cake, pie from Ikedas! To complete their special day, they spent the rest of the night around the fire, basking in their newlywed glow.
