A Budget Minded Twist On The Traditional Tahoe Wedding

Getting married can come with a lot of costs. The venue, catering, music, and you can't forget the florals! This may seem daunting and pricey for some couples, but fear not, there are options for staying in your budget while still having an unforgettable wedding. One of our favorite venues,

Dancing Pines

, is expanding its offerings for couples who want a little bit more of a low-key wedding that also takes the guesswork out of cutting costs.

First things first, Dancing Pines in an incredible venue. Look at this view! Situated on the Little Truckee River, this secluded gem is gorgeous and will knock the socks off of your guests. Their new ceremony package is a great way to switch up the idea of a typical wedding reception.

The ceremony package is offered Sundays through Thursdays, with a maximum of 75 guests. Couples and their guests have access to Dancing Pines for a riverside ceremony and reception with a three-hour time limit. The package includes wooden folding chairs, day-of coordination, a champagne toast, and a water and lemonade station. The entire cost is $3500, and that includes one of our favorite officiants

Meredith Richmond

! (If couples already have an officiant the cost will be reduced by $200.)

Imagine this: a cozy gathering full of passed apps, live music, and cocktails instead of a typical large-scale reception. Think of it as a cocktail party wedding. Get married and then celebrate with your closest family at friends at an incredible venue in the High Sierra.

There is also an option to add on a full bar with Stirred N' Shaken. Several of our favorite vendors are preferred partners at Dancing Pines and would be perfect for your cocktail party reception. We think Platterfare creates delicious and unique platters, perfect for your passed apps. Brian Hess can play intimate live music for your party.

This option is the perfect solution for couples who would like a larger wedding than an elopement but would like to keep the affair a bit smaller than a traditional wedding. Couples today are also leaning towards incorporating eco-conscious ideas into their weddings and this is a great way to reduce the impact of your wedding on the environment.

One of our favorite aspects of Dancing Pines, besides the incredible view, is that they are pet - friendly! Bring your four-legged friends and let them enjoy the cocktail party with the rest of your friends and family. We recently shared their

You are getting a ridiculously beautiful venue, the wedding of your dreams, AND saving on costs. It seems like the perfect combo to us!Dancing Pines has all of the details on their
