Intimate Pier Wedding on the West Shore

Imagine getting married on a private pier in one of the most beautiful places on earth? That’s exactly what Trish and Andy did, and lucky for us, Bianca Sciotto was there to capture every last detail!

Even though the couple are both from the Midwest, they chose Lake Tahoe as their wedding destination because it’s the place they met and fell in love. So, it only made sense that they would bring their families out here to watch them tie the knot.

Trish and Andy’s decided on a private estate on the west shore for their nuptials. And we don’t think there is a better place for a small intimate ceremony than this dreamy pier! It was followed by the reception at The Ritz-Carlton, where the couple had their first dance set against the mountains and surrounded by trees. “It was pretty special to be able to spend time on the water and then retreat up to the mountain for the remainder of the day. The whole day had such beautiful ease to it, calm and perfect,” Bianca reflected. And the best part? Both the venues were so gorgeous that they didn’t even need to bring in many decorations!

If Trish could do one thing differently, it is to go with the flow. “Life is different than it used to be (pre-COVID-19), and it’s important to not hold onto too many expectations. The most beautiful things come out of situations when you least expect them; for example, we went from planning a 250+ person wedding at a hotel resort to 13 immediate family on a dock.”

We can’t wait for you to check out all the stunning details below!
