What brings you the greatest joy in your life?
Watching my kiddos giggle.

What brought you to Tahoe?
Born and raised in Incline Village, a hard place to leave.

What is a must-see hidden gem in Lake Tahoe?
Skiing Solitude Canyon at Diamond Peak.

Tahoe lifestyle: winter or summer?
Winter. Always.

If you were not in the wedding industry, what would you do?
I would be a chef. I love cooking. I think about food, I dream about food, and judging by my waistline, I love eating food!

What inspires your work?
Texture and light, my kids say I am obsessed with Alpine Glow, and they would be right.

What is a fun fact about your company?
The name of my company was inspired by an inside joke between my husband and me.

What is the career highlight you are most proud of?
I put on a private concert, Runaway June, for 60 guests. I paired all the wines for the 5-course dinner. I had carte blanche as far as stage lighting and set-up. The evening was a total success; I was so proud of my team.

What is your go-to conversation starter with a potential client?
“How did you two meet?”

How would you describe the perfect day in Lake Tahoe?
Wake up early (winter, of course) walk my dogs while drinking my coffee. Then, load up the kiddos, do some spring skiing, beer on the KT sundeck, head to Tahoe Vista, grab a pizza from Jiffy, eat said pizza on the beach with the family, watch the alpine glow, head home in bed by 8:30 pm.

What are you most proud of?
How kind my kids are.

Who inspires you the most?
My bestie Paris is unapologetically herself, and I find that very inspiring.

What is your life motto?
Safety never takes a vacation.

What was the most recent thing that made you laugh?
My youngest daughter Rumi is full of one-liners.

What’s the most useless talent you have?
I can peel a hard-boiled egg in one peel.

What is the closest thing to real magic?
Alpine Glow.

What was your go-to activity during quarantine?
Drinking Bourbon and playing Clue with the family.

What kind of wedding guest are you?
Punctual and gracious.

Any song you can add to our brides’ and grooms’ budding wedding playlist?
Into The Mystic, Van Morrison.

Working in the wedding industry is not for the faint of heart. So how do you rest and rejuvenate?
Acupuncture and sleep. I REALLY value my sleep.

What is something people might not know about you?
I am a certified Sommelier.

Any four-legged friends in your home?
Gidget, a 15-year-old cattle dog, and Pixie, a 4-year-old chihuahua.
