Whimsical Fun At This West Shore Lake Tahoe Private Estate Wedding

An all-star team of vendors came together to create Casey and Pat’s colorful wedding at a private lakefront estate on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. One Fine Day Events took the helm of planning and designing this sweet-as-pie couples’ lighthearted and whimsical celebration.

For the lakeside ceremony, wood guest chairs were situated on the sand, with brightly colored parasols tucked amongst the rows. A copper geometric arch framed Casey and Pat as they said “I do” against a backdrop of the lake’s cerulean waters.

Casey, a native of Atlanta, wore a dress by Lela Rose. The minimalist silhouette of her gown was adorned with delicate embroidery. Pat and his groomsmen all looked sharp in their “Tahoe blue” colored suits and playful floral motif ties by Ted Baker.

Look up “happy” in the dictionary and you’re bound to find a picture of the bride’s beautiful, voluminous bouquet by B&B Designs. Similarly cheerful floral installations hung from the reception’s bedouin-style tent, with a riot of blooms cascading from hanging rattan baskets.

Our other favorite details from Casey and Pat’s playful festivities include the transparent, pressed-floral menu signage and the custom bar, accented with a giant balloon garland (all designed by OFD).

To honor Casey’s Atlanta roots, guests enjoyed a Southern-inspired menu including fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits (served with traditional sauces and syrups, of course), and a variety of summer fruit pies.
