Tahoe Unveiled’s collective of wedding vendors gather together twice per year in Spring and Fall to celebrate the kickoff and culmination of summer wedding season in Lake Tahoe. But these events are more than just a party. You see, if there’s one thing true about the wedding industry, it’s that no one business ever creates a beautiful wedding on their own. In other words… it takes teamwork to make the Lake Tahoe destination wedding dream work and collaboration, cooperation, and relationships amongst our talented members is an important mission of Tahoe Unveiled.
Speaking of collaboration, our Fall 2019 event was hosted by Platterfare and its sister business. Kitchen Collab. Kitchen Collab is an innovative incubator for food industry entrepreneurs and beautiful, industrial-chic event space available to rent for private and public events. Platterfare, which creates artfully curated grab & go snack/charcuterie boxes in a variety of sizes – from the 2 person Dockbox and Picnicboxes (serves 4-6) to larger custom platters – is one of our favorite Tahoe tips for bridal party, bachelor/bachelorette party, and welcome party snacking.
Platterfare co-owners Andrea Barrow and Alex Tolger and Kitchen Collab manager Katie Livingstone flexed serious kitchen muscle in the delectable spread they laid out for Tahoe Unveiled – an abundance of beautiful platters, crudite, dips, and even a simmering Fall fondue table.
Other businesses that shared their wares include Shine Bar Catering who mixed the event’s signature pomegranate champagne cocktial. Guests mingled to a custom playlist by Rusty Belicek of Music in Tahoe. Absolutely gorgeous florals by the lovely duo Andi and Jillian of Twine & Dandy complemented the warm reclaimed wood accents throughout the Kitchen Collab space. And, last but not least, the inimitable Corey Fox captured the evening in the stunning photographs you see in this post.
