Love & Lupines Floral Design is based in Northern California & serves the greater Lake Tahoe area. Our inspiration comes from the beautiful surroundings of this area and incorporates unique elements to create custom pieces that are creative & inspiring. We embody Tahoe by sourcing flowers from local farms & putting a focus on “keeping it local” to pay it back to our community as well as ensure the utmost quality blooms. 

I have been passionate about flowers for as long as I can remember and have been an award-winning wedding and event planner in Truckee for more than a decade. I found out early on in my wedding career that flowers are my favorite part of a wedding, inspiring me to learn everything I could about floral design. Helping a couple to find their wedding vision and making it come to life is pure joy to me.

Our specialty is creating floral pieces for weddings & events that tie together your entire vision. I love to incorporate upcycled materials, vintage pieces, old jewelry and charms, fabric, lace, ribbon, and rustic and natural elements into my pieces. These items, combined with big beautiful blooms, textural elements, and unusual varieties, are what I believe makes a perfect arrangement. Attention to detail, organization, and great communication are key elements when planning any event and I strive to make these top priorities when working with any client.

Outside of floral design, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and all of the other fun things our region has to offer. The name Love & Lupines comes from my family’s love of the beautiful lupines that bloom on the shores of Lake Tahoe, as well as in so many of our other favorite locations in California.
