Dancing Pines is a private twenty-acre property that sits on the banks of the Little Truckee River and offers a truly natural setting. The tall pines of the sierra high country offer a one-of-a-kind backdrop while the site’s simple and elegant design allows clients complete creative freedom. Wedding offerings have been carefully crafted to suit clients’ individual needs. Packages are all-inclusive of taxes and service charges and range from $1,500 to $20,000. Calendar availability and pricing is listed online. Weddings are hosted June – September.

      Dancing Pines is among Truckee Tahoe’s most unique outdoor wedding venues. Full-day site rentals allow clients to enjoy the property throughout the day and at their convenience. Our site accommodates up to 150 guests featuring a charming riverside ceremony site, a large patio for cocktails, a relaxing fire pit lounge area, and 7,000 square feet of lawn for dinner and dancing.

      While our elopement and ceremony packages are uniquely designed for couples looking for intimacy and simplicity, our inclusive BYO wedding package is for those who desire the independence and flexibility to choose their own vendors and personalize each and every detail to meet their imagination.

During the weekend our wedding took place the weather was a little iffy with possible flash flood warnings. While I could have totally freaked out about this, I was able to stay calm as Liz provided a back up plan and made me feel confident as though even if a problem did arise such as some rain, she would take care of it and the day would still feel just as magical.Throughout the wedding day itself Liz was INCREDIBLE. And I don't give that type of compliment lightly. Even my wedding guests were commenting on how great the venues team was...which says something. I would also love to note how magical Dancing Pines is. This venue is an absolute dream - everyone we invited told us how much they too loved and enjoyed it.       LOVED our wedding in the woods at Dancing Pines MARRIED: July 10, 2021 VENUE: Dancing Pines My husband and I tied the knot at Dancing Pines in July 2021. We absolutely loved the venue and working with Liz! Dancing Pines is an absolutely gorgeous property in the woods and along the river. Our day could not have been more perfect. Our family and friends all had great things to say! The venue provides so much more than just dinner and dancing. Some friends relaxed by the fire pit, down by the river, or had a cornhole tournament. Liz and her staff made sure everything went smoothly and were very responsive during all the planning/prep.       "If you're an outdoorsy type, this is the perfect venue for you. Liz, the proprietor, and her husband Bryan are amazing and really seem to go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. My now-wife was stressed out over a million things but Liz really did an amazing job assuring her that everything would be fine, and followed through on that promise. Liz understands that different people are going to want different things, and she really kept things on track and moving. The venue itself is awesome."
      "Let me just start by saying that Dancing Pines exceeded our expectations in every way. What drew us in from when we first visited was its grandeur and beauty. We like to consider ourselves outdoorsy people, and you literally cannot get more outdoors than this. From the towering trees, to the babbling brook that runs through the property, this venue was love at first sight. And that’s saying something, because the only other time I ever felt that way was when I met my wife! And the pictures on the website can’t even do it proper justice. It’s only when you are actually standing on the property, breathing in the crisp summer air and feeling the wind wisp through the trees can you really appreciate it’s magnificence. And after meeting with Liz for the first time, and every additional time after that, we both felt entirely confident in her ability to make our wedding day go off without a hitch. When you book this venue, not only do you get a beautiful place to get married in, but you get an amazing wedding coordinator that helped keep my wife sane.
