I cannot say enough great things about Love is in the Hair! From inquiry to booking then trial and day of they were super easy to work with, professional & fun! The first meeting I had was for my trial with Michelle at her salon in Truckee. Michelle is an absolute sweetheart and has such a fun and spunky personality. My mother in law came with me and Michelle made her feel involved and took her time walking us through her tips and tricks with makeup. I never felt like we were on a time line and felt that she was going to take as much time as needed to make sure she got the look I was going for. I walked out of there feeling so gorgeous and like I made a friend. On the day of our wedding Michelle and Stephanie arrived on time and found the best spot to set up quickly. They were so engaged with all of my bridesmaids and each of them loved their hair and makeup that day. Michelle and Stephanie are so up to date on styles and trends and know just what colors and hair flattered each of the girls. Everyone still looked so prefect by the end of the night as if we had just gotten out of the chair. I highly recommend Love is in the Hair if you want to work with a fun group of talented hair & makeup artist who will make you and your crew look and feel amazing. Sarah F

I had the most amazing experience working with Michelle and her hair and make-up team for my wedding day! I typically do not wear much make-up, so was completely lost when it came to deciding on what look I wanted for the wedding. When I met Michelle for my trial, she immediately put me at ease. Without giving her much guidance, she came up with a look for me that was perfectly natural and somehow just what I wanted. On the big day, all of my bridesmaids felt so beautiful and pampered. The morning of the wedding can be stressful, but Michelle and her team did everything to make sure it was fun and relaxing. They even wrote down make up products for some of my bridesmaids who loved their look so much! They are TRUE professionals: always responded promptly to emails, arrived early on the day of, and ended up finishing early. My bridesmaids aren't big makeup people, and the team did an incredible job helping them feel gorgeous, comfortable, and still like themselves despite the hairspray and fake eyelashes :) (3) They are super prompt, responsive and professional - from start to finish I felt totally confident working with Michelle and knew I could count on her team to deliver a truly pro experience. Emails were always answered promptly and thoroughly (trust me, as you get to the final months and weeks of planning, you'll be SO grateful for responsive vendors), and they arrived early on the day of to make sure we kept to our timeline.
