Two Iconic Locations For This Classic Tahoe Wedding

After moving to Denver, Alex decided to take a chance at the world of online dating. She was immediately matched with what turned out to be the love of her life Patrick, and the rest is history!

Alex grew up spending many cherished family vacations on the beaches and slopes of Tahoe. Tahoe also played an important role in Alex and Patrick’s relationship as they have enjoyed many backpacking and ski trips together in the region. Tahoe is such a special place for them, so saying ‘I Do’ here was the perfect decision! A full itinerary of events was planned to showcase the area, from a rehearsal dinner at a local brewery to a beach day on Tahoe! Patrick and Alex wanted their guests to be able to celebrate with them while being able to relax and enjoy Tahoe.

Forget Me Knot Events & Design planned Alex and Patrick’s day, which started with saying ‘I Do’ atop of Homewood Mountain Resort. Guests were treated to a truly Tahoe experience and arrived at the ceremony via a chairlift! Panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and gorgeous florals greeted guests at the top. Alex and Patrick exchanged vows, and then the celebration moved across the street to the West Shore Cafe & Inn.

From rustic farm tables accented with lush, hand-tied garland to neutral florals with pops of blush and caramel from B & B Designs, no detail was left untouched. The reception decor complemented the gorgeous setting of the lakefront reception. Table numbers were made to look like snow-capped mountains creating the ultimate Tahoe wedding decor. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and dancing at the West Shore Cafe. Melina Wallisch captured this gorgeous mountain affair.
