Turn Your Floral Dreams Into a Reality With Rise Floral

If you haven’t seen Rise Floral’s work, where have you been? Brooke Haffey has been turning floral dreams into a reality since 2018, with her specialty being thoughtfully curated weddings and events. Brooke is known for valuing timelessness over trends, and it shows in her work. “I believe that when chosen and arranged mindfully, flowers can shift us into the present moment, offering a space of expression and healing.” When she is not flowering events, you can find her lost in a great book, exploring meadows, and hiking with her husband and their rescue pup. In this post, we talk to Brooke about her flower powers and her picture-perfect life in Tahoe.

What brings you the greatest joy in your life?

Time spent with my family and friends, especially my niece. My golden retriever Cami, who we rescued last year, and of course, my loving husband.

What brought you to Tahoe?

We came here to be closer to family and for all of the incredible outdoor adventures and sports, like hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding. I started marketing my business in Tahoe while still living in Florida. It really took off quickly, which gave us the confidence to make a move.

I am heavily inspired by the organic placements of the natural world, interior design, fine art paintings, and architecture.

What is a fun fact about your company?

My resilience throughout my five-year journey with chronic illness and many surgeries, and how I got myself to a place of deep healing and joy.

The only way out is through.

What was the most recent thing that made you laugh?

My husband and I sharing baby name ideas – just for fun. I think he only said one that was serious, but they all had me belly laughing!

I was born and raised in Florida.

Any four-legged friends in your home?

Our golden retriever Cami and our cat Yinny. We rescued both, and they bring so much joy and love to our lives!
