Anne and Pete worked closely with Truckee based wedding planner, Summit Soiree and Tahoe City based D’lish Catering for their summer Lake Tahoe Wedding. Together, they decided on Tahoe’s historic Thunderbird Lodge as the backdrop for their summer wedding which incorporated an intimate ceremony of subtle nautical blues and whites with a lively after-party, at Incline Villages Hyatt Regency, complete with signature cocktails, life size Jenga and music by Brian Hess. Photographer, Melina Wallisch braved the elements and adapted to last minute weather related changes to capture their day perfectly. 
From the photographer ~ Anne and Pete reside in Portola Valley, CA and married at the historic Thunderbird Lodge… Anne’s love of travel coupled beautifully with Pete’s adventurous spirit… their nautical themed wedding was a weather infused mountain soiree! The pouring rain was a happy welcome after Lake Tahoe had been engulfed in smoke all week from fire… many day-before and last-minute decisions were made… the entire ceremony and reception were rearranged and moved the to night before! We were so happy to have an outdoor ceremony, and nobody would’ve guessed anything had been changed… the day was pulled off splendidly with a seamlessly awesome design team… I am so thrilled to share this wedding with you… xo
