What would you like to share with future couples?

As a wedding photographer, there are a few things I’d love to share with future couples: Communication is Key: And clear communication is essential. Discuss your vision, preferences, and any specific shots you desire with your photographer beforehand. Trust your Photographer: You’ve chosen your photographer for a reason—trust their expertise. They know how to capture the best moments and emotions. Allow them creative freedom while also expressing your preferences. Plan the Schedule: Coordinate with your photographer to create a timeline for the day. Ensure there’s ample time for photos without making the schedule too tight or stressful. Consider Lighting and Location: Outdoor or indoor, lighting matters. Discuss with your photographer the best time of day for outdoor shoots. Capture Candid Moments: Some of the most precious memories happen naturally. Allow your photographer to capture candid moments between you and your loved ones—they often make the most cherished photos. Enjoy the Moment: Your wedding day is about celebrating your love. Relax, enjoy each other’s company, and let the photographer capture the magic of the day. Remember, every wedding is unique, and it’s these personal touches that make the photos truly special.

What brings you the greatest joy in your life?

Helping people and seeing them grow and learn brings me immense joy. When I see someone accomplish something they’ve been working hard on or when I’m able to provide information that makes a positive impact in someone’s life, it’s incredibly rewarding. Being a part of someone’s journey to success or assisting them in overcoming challenges is truly fulfilling for me.

What brought you to Tahoe?

Tahoe is a captivating place known for its crystal-clear waters, picturesque mountains, and year-round outdoor adventures, making it the best destination for nature lovers like me.

What is a must-see hidden gem in Lake Tahoe?

One of the hidden gems in Lake Tahoe is Secret Cove. It’s a beautiful and secluded beach nestled along the eastern shore of the lake. What makes it special is its serene atmosphere and stunning scenery. The clear turquoise waters against the backdrop of rocky cliffs create a picturesque setting, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty. Another hidden gem is Eagle Falls, located near Emerald Bay. This waterfall offers breathtaking views and a relatively moderate hike that rewards you with stunning vistas of Lake Tahoe. Each season offers its own charm, so whether you visit in the summer for water activities or in the winter for snow-covered landscapes, there’s always something captivating to discover in Lake Tahoe’s hidden spots.

Describe Lake Tahoe to someone who has never been here.

Imagine a vast expanse of clear, cobalt-blue water surrounded by towering pine trees and majestic snow-capped peaks. The lake’s clarity is stunning—you can see great depths, and the colors shift from deep blues to mesmerizing emerald tones.

Tahoe lifestyle: winter or summer?

Hard to choose. Tahoe Winters brings a magical wonderland with its snow-covered landscape. It’s a haven for winter sports enthusiasts—skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and even cozying up by the fire with hot cocoa are all part of the scene. On the other hand, summer in Tahoe is equally captivating. The crystal-clear waters beckon for swimming, boating, and paddleboarding. Hiking trails reveal stunning vistas, and the warm weather makes outdoor activities like camping and biking a delight. The longer days mean more time to explore the hiking trails or simply bask in the sunshine by the lake.

If you were not a (fill in your vendor category), what would you do?

If I was not a photographer I would probably be in Customer Service. I love to interact with others and to help out.

What inspires your work?

The beauty of landscapes and the changing seasons. The interplay of light and shadows, unique angles, and compositions. Whether it’s the joy of a wedding, the innocence of a child, or the resilience of a community, capturing these moments and emotions is very inspiring.

What is a fun fact about your company?

I always feel a rush of excitement before a shoot. Whether it’s a wedding, a portrait session, or any other type of photography assignment, I love the anticipation and excitement. There’s a mix of emotions—excitement about the creative possibilities, the chance to capture unique moments, and the opportunity to work with different subjects or in diverse settings.

What’s the most useless talent you have?

With dedication and effort, talents can become valuable skills that contribute positively to various aspects of life.

What is the closest thing to real magic?

The closest thing to real magic might be the incredible power of human connection and empathy. When someone shows kindness, understanding, or compassion, it can have a profound impact on others. The ability to genuinely connect with someone, to empathize and support them in their time of need, can create a transformative and almost magical effect. It can uplift spirits, heal wounds, and inspire hope.

What was your go-to activity to do outside of work?

Traveling allows me to immerse myself in new environments, to step out of my comfort zone, and to gain a broader perspective on the world.

What kind of wedding guest are you?

I’d immerse myself in the festivities, engaging with other guests, and contributing positively to the energy of the event.

Any song you can add to our brides’ and grooms’ budding wedding playlist?

A timeless and romantic addition to a wedding playlist could be “At Last” by Etta James. Its soulful melody and heartfelt lyrics often resonate with couples celebrating their love and commitment on their special day.

Working in the wedding industry is not for the faint of heart. So how do you rest and rejuvenate?

Spending time with my family, traveling and exploring the beauty of Lake Tahoe. It’s all about finding a way to step back, re-energize, and come back with renewed focus and clarity.

What is something people might not know about you?

I was born in Romania and moved to Tahoe in 2015.
