Sophia and Arturo wanted a Tahoe winter wedding. Think backdrop full of snow, trees, mountains, and water. Judging from their photos, they got all that and more. Here is how their special day, captured by photographer Elsa Boscarello, unfolded!
The couple met in engineering school and had since turned into avid travelers. Since they’ve known each other, they have been to five countries and five states!
Sofia and Arturo were one of Elsa’s first couples of 2022. And they were just what she needed to start the new season. “They welcomed me as if I were part of their family, creating a comfortable environment to photograph a little piece of their world. They were laid-back but intentional with the planning leading up to the day, and they knew what they wanted and locked everything in so efficiently, making it an adventure-full day with a flexible timeline.”
Tahoe Bleu Wave and The Safari Rose worked together to make Sophia and Arturo’s charter for the ceremony perfect. The night’s chefs were from Tahoe Mountain Tapas. “They made everything so easy for us, and the food was spectacular. We’re so glad we chose them! We’d also love to thank our amazing photographer, Elsa, who went above and beyond for us. She always made herself available when we needed her. As soon as she arrived, she took care of our family and us to ensure our day’s schedule worked out. We felt so at ease on our day with her there. And now we also have amazing photos that will last a lifetime!” the couple explained.
The cruise was the couple’s favorite part of the wedding. “We’re so glad we chose to do the first look earlier in the day. It allowed us to spend more time with each other and our family on the boat and enjoy the amazing view.”
If they have one piece of advice for other couples planning a wedding, it’s don’t let the groom get away with not helping make decisions. “The beginning can be very overwhelming. Give your partner a list of things to take care of. It makes the planning process much easier to tackle when working as a team.”
