The Tahoe Unveiled Guide To The Ultimate Bachelorette Party

The ultimate honor of being Maid of Honor has been bestowed upon you. After helping your bestie pick out her wedding dress, now is the time to plan the perfect bachelorette party. In our opinion, Lake Tahoe is the only place to celebrate your bride and her upcoming nuptials. So, gather up your gals and check out our list of the best activities to create the perfect Tahoe Bachelorette party.

One of our favorite ways to see the lake is with Tahoe Sailing Charters. Captain Tyler is awesome and what better way to watch the sunset over Tahoe than on a sailboat! They host bachelorette parties all the time on their boat and choosing Tahoe Sailing Charters ensures an incredible experience with friendly, professional staff. Tyler and his team have dedicated themselves to curating the perfect atmosphere and vibe on the boat which mixes exquisitely with the natural beauty of the lake and mountains. They also serve up beverages (Captain Tyler promises Prosecco!) and apps, making it a one of a kind Tahoe experience.

Lather up your sunscreen and find your favorite bathing suit to hit the lake with Tahoe Surf Company. Wake surfing is not only the best way to have a blast on the lake, but Jeb and his crew at Tahoe Surf Company will get you and all your girls surfing on the lake in no time. They will pick you and your friends up on the lake and take you out for an unforgettable day. Wetsuits are provided in case the Tahoe water is a bit chilly during your trip and their quiver of surfboards will get everyone up on the water. Interested in lakeside dining too? Ask them to drop you off at your favorite lakeside restaurant or for recommendations on their favorite place and they will deliver your group dockside. We suggest Garwoods, Sunnyside and the Westshore Cafe and only wish we could head out and celebrate our friend’s bachelorette party with Tahoe Surf Company this summer!

If a more relaxing activity is calling your group’s name, head on up to the The Ritz Carlton – Lake Tahoe. Their spa is not only breathtaking, but the services are amazing. Relax in their quiet room, or head outside to the outdoor pool area. The view from here is nothing short of spectacular. Then, head inside for a fabulous massage or facial. The best part is there is plenty of room for you and your friends to socialize before or after your services in a cozy atmosphere.

Saddle up and make the bachelorette party even more memorable by going on a guided trail ride at Tahoe Donner. Their experienced wranglers will lead you through high mountain forests or down to the beautiful Euer valley where you can experience stunning wildflowers, making the perfect photo op for you and your friends.

Wind down with your ladies by spending some time at Uncorked. Uncorked, a full-service wine bar has locations in Truckee, Tahoe City, and Squaw Valley. They can even set up a wine class for you, showcasing five to six wines along with artisanal cheese and charcuterie. Yum!

Single track might be calling your group’s name and, if this is the case, check out Dirt Gypsy Adventures for a guided mountain bike ride. No experience is necessary and what better way to bond with your friends and get out in the Tahoe backcountry than on a bike?!

Some of the most iconic spots on the lake are best accessed via paddle boards and kayaks. If this sounds like your perfect bachelorette activity, head on over to Tahoe Adventure Company and set up a private tour of the lake. You can also rent paddle boards and kayaks and adventure on your own.

Feeling artsy? Atelier Truckee in downtown Truckee is the coolest store in town. They offer a wide range of classes from watercolors to floral design and even cheese making. (We would love to be a guest on that bachelorette party!) They also have an adorable store so after class be sure to check it out and, while you are at it, shop the stores around downtown Truckee. A stop at CoffeeBar is also a must to re energize after all of your Bachelorette weekend activities!

Tahoe is chock full of the best activities for any weekend getaway, but creating an unforgettable Bachelorette party here is sure thing. So, pack your bags and get your friends ready for a weekend they won’t forget! We will be waiting for our invite in the mail!
