Summer Wedding at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe

This couple is so incredibly lucky. They not only found the person they can't imagine living without, but they also got to celebrate their forever love with a lakefront wedding that is incredibly stylish and then some. Cigars, white florals, elegant gowns... all at this beautiful beachfront venue. Be sure to check the full gallery from

From the photographer, Mandy Ford: This was my very first time shooting at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe and I couldn't have been more honored! The day was truly perfect. Their lakefront cabins overlooked the ceremony site, which happened to be a prime photography space! (and did I mention convenient?!) Jayde was so great about walking from destination to destination. Another fun perk of this venue is that the groomsmen were getting ready directly below the bridesmaids. So fun! We somehow managed to keep them from sneaking a peek prior to the ceremony. The couple met at Cal state, but didn't go on a date for quite some time. When Evan asked Jayde out, she made it very clear that she would only go for ONE drink with him. Three hours later, they were still chatting away... the rest is history! As their relationship developed, they decided to take it a step further, and they moved to Oregon. Prior to leaving Southern California, Evan took Jayde on a helicopter ride at Catalina Island. Little did she know, he conspired with the pilot beforehand, and he dropped them off at a private location on the island. This is where Evan got down one one knee, and of course Jayde said YES!When I first spoke with the couple and heard the story of their proposal, I was worried nothing would top the views from their stunning engagement. They couldn't have chosen a better venue, and a more talented team of vendors to prove my notion wrong! Lake Tahoe proved to be the perfect backdrop, halfway between their Southern California roots, and Oregon home.We couldn't have lucked out more with a sunny, perfect day. This is even better in Tahoe because it brings out blue tones only visible on a clear day, and the cotton candy clouds added some drama!Jayde and Evan are the most caring couple! Jayde included heirlooms and mementos from her grandfather who had passed away, and her grandmother who could not make it to their special day.I love the feel of the Hyatt Regency Lakefront Cabins. With their distressed hardwood, industrial light fixtures, and ALL the white shiplap, I couldn't have chosen a better place to take photos. I mean... look at Jayde in this one - WOW! Can we just chat for a sec about Evan's Groom style? I can't get enough of this three piece suit, and floral tie! I love when grooms wear something slightly different than the groomsmen
