Solstice Mountain Wedding
Drew and Britt decided to get married on 06/21/18, the summer solstice. It really resonated with the couple to celebrate their love on the longest day of the year. With both the bride and groom living in Tahoe they wanted their wedding day to have an outdoorsy mountain feel as well as being one big party for their closest friends and family. They wrote their vows themselves and their officiant touched on light in the universe and the connection that brought them together as a couple. This gorgeous couple was married at

Their Story:Drew and Britt's story began in the beautiful mountains of Lake Tahoe. They first met in January of 2013 at Northstar California Resort, where Britt was working as a Lift Operator and Drew as a Ski Lift Mechanic. They became fond of each other but it wasn't until a year later when they ran into each other at a mutual friends house the real sparks flew. Drew asked Britt if she wanted to "catch a sunset" sometime and with only a little persistence along with Drew's sense of humor, wit and charm and Britt decided to give him a chance. After their first official "date" the two fell in love almost instantaneously. Three and a half years later, Drew popped the question on a beautiful mountaintop, where the sunset lit the entire sky and Britt undoubtedly said, "Yes!"
