An Intentional Party in the Pines

Kayla and Bryant kept pinching themselves looking at all the people they love surrounding them. Spending time with their people was the priority for these two on their wedding day. Look in to Kayla and Bryant's special day at the Dancing Pines captured by Ali Bounty

Kayla and Bryant met the old-fashioned way — at work!! They both worked at Nike in Portland, Oregon. They worked together on a project and the rest is history! Kayla and Bryant hold Tahoe as a special place in their hearts as they snuck away here during COVID and couldn’t stay away; they stayed a full year! Bryant eventually proposed to Kayla here in Tahoe during the winter of 2021.

Kayla and Bryant's top priority during their wedding was to maximize time with their guests. The wedding had an earlier start time so that they could structure in as much time with their people as possible. They had a two hour long cocktail hour so they could mix and mingle as well as take photos with their bridal party and family. This turned out to be a pretty magical time for them all and gave them all time to take the day in.

For their whole wedding they wanted it to be as personalized as possible. They had put their touch on everything. With custom illustrations that was a common thread in all of their collaterals - signage, menus, napkins, drink stirrers etc. To add an extra touch of Kayla and Bryant, they had a self service chardonnay bar which is their favorite drink! Which obviously needed to be a part of this special day. In addition to that they had their specialty cocktails, Margaritas! Classic for Mr. and strawberry for Mrs.

The dancing part of their party was definitely an important piece to Kayla and Bryant, so in order to elevate this time, they added on a killer light show for the last few hours of the night. Before that happened they wanted the crowd to feel involved, so they integrated a few dancing songs early on immediately following first dances and before dinner to get people up on their feet and feeling the energy. This really created a space where everyone felt like partying all night long.

The most important thing to Kayla and Bryant was to slow down and find time to take everything in amidst the stress wedding days so often bring. They recommend you look intentionally at one another and your loved ones. This day only happens once in a lifetime and celebrating your love surrounded by the most important people in your life is something you will never want to forget. Kayla highly recommends honing in on those little moments and breathing in the pure joy and love that surrounds you and your now husband or wife. Be present in the moment and enjoy all the work you put into this wedding-you deserve it!!!

Congratulations on your wedding Kayla and Bryant! May your future be bright and full of blessings.
