An Elegant Winter Wedding At The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe

Jamie and David are mountain-loving road trippers who got engaged in Sequoia National Park and looked at venues in Mammoth, Bear Valley, and Yosemite before deciding to get married in Truckee/Tahoe.

She Said Yes Weddings

was tasked with creating a winter wedding infused with the magic of the holiday season - cold weather, white snow, and that cozy feeling you get cuddled up next to a roaring fire. Mother Nature obliged, offering up a fresh blanket of snow the night before Jamie and David's wedding at

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe

captured by Athena and Camron Photography.

The couple's ceremony was held outdoors on The Ritz' Fireside Terrace, with winter greenery adorning the massive stone fireplace. The bridesmaid's burgundy velvet dresses were a stunning contrast to the snow covered mountains.

Back indoors for the reception, nine Christmas trees, all decorated with warm white twinkle lights, were arranged behind the large wedding party table. Winter garland was used throughout the dinner tables, accented with colors of navy and burgundy. Copper and mercury glass place settings glittered in the romantic candlelight and tall centerpieces of winter greenery added to the elegant atmosphere.

Jamie and David's guests enjoyed the outstanding menu created by The Ritz-Carlton chefs. And, of course, the famous hot chocolate bar was the perfect way to warm up after sending the couple off in a dazzling sparkler exit under starry mountain skies.

Congratulations Jamie and David!
