An Elegant and Charming Outdoor Wedding at Chalet View Lodge

An elegant, outdoor wedding with gorgeous meadows and surrounding pine trees made this couple's wedding the best day ever! Ty and Brittany met in college at the University of Oregon, but it wasn't until 2 years later when Brittany was home for summer break in San Francisco that Ty invited her to a party. Shortly after they started dating, they went on their first getaway to Tahoe to shred the powder! Brittany shared with us, "Skiing and snowboarding are our favorite hobbies to do together and continues to bond us every time we do it!"

Growing up, both of their families chose Tahoe as their home away from home. It's where they've spent holidays, vacations, and many special occasions. Ty and Brittany try to visit Tahoe City, where Ty's family owns a home, at least five times a year. So when it came to picking a wedding location, there was no question it would be Lake Tahoe!

Guests were blown away by the breathtaking views that surrounded them throughout the evening at Chalet View Lodge. Photographer Courtney Aaron really captured the essence of this blissful day and all the gorgeous details, from the lush, muted florals to the beautiful ceremony in the meadow. Not to mention the bride's stunning details on her gown from Pronovias, which Britney joked was not the easiest thing to jump into!

Blend Catering dazzled guests with their delicious menu and the specialty cocktails from Shine Bar Catering had everyone obsessed. The party continued into the early morning as everyone danced the night away under the starry sky to the Lucky Devils Band. The bride and groom confessed that they were the last ones on the dance floor at 3 am!
