A South Lake Tahoe Private Estate Microwedding

Walter proposed to Allie at Lake Tahoe's inspiration point last April and, when the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted their Napa Valley wedding plans for the third time, they settled on a South Lake Tahoe microwedding. This beautiful couple was simply determined to become husband and wife, come hell or high water, even if it meant planning a new wedding with less than 30 days to go.

The stone and timber private estate they booked offered enough room for all of their family and friends to gather safely for the entire weekend. With a classic blue and white color palette, a gorgeous wedding party, and lush florals, their celebration had all the elegance of a large wedding, enjoyed on a more intimate scale.

conducted their ceremony on the home's deck, overlooking a stunning view of Lake Tahoe. The bride wore a timeless strapless gown with a dramatic veil and train that took everyone's breath away.

Back inside after the ceremony, a personal chef served dinner (safely with masks, of course) at the home's large farmhouse style dining table. Allie and Walter say theirs was the most relaxed wedding they have ever been to. The ability to spend quality time with their loved ones - chatting over breakfast, enjoying the views, playing yard games - was so much fun that if they had known a full-weekend private estate wedding was an option they would have planned it this way from the get-go.

With this much patience, perspective, and determination, we know this couple is more than ready to embark on their new life together. Congratulations Allie and Walter - we're so glad you chose Lake Tahoe to make your wedding dreams come true!
