Ashley and Nick both grew up coming to Lake Tahoe for summer and winter vacations at their respective families' homes and it was an easy decision to say "I Do" in Tahoe. While the celebration expanded in size, Ashley and Nick wanted to retain the natural and comfortable atmosphere of their original plan. The bride described their vision as an "elevated picnic," with touches of understated elegance. Throughout the event design, One Fine Day incorporated elements that reflected the couple's favorite things to do - cooking, walking with their dogs on the lake, and, of course, relaxing in Tahoe.

accented the wooden tables and benches, with cozy sheepskin throws scattered throughout the seating. A darling vintage boat kept self-serve bottled beer on ice and the cottage-style bar offered craft brew on tap from Tahoe-based Alibi Brewing. Truly every detail was thoughtfully connected to Ashley and Nick's design vision, ensuring that all their guests felt relaxed and welcomed to the rustic cabin and lake.

Hand-torn, deckled-edge escort cards with gold calligraphy were tied with leather cord to mini bottles of rose from Ashley's favorite winery in Napa and this leather detail was also brought into the place cards.
