A Dreamy Tahoe Wedding with Two Ceremonies

Ki and Sarah tied the knot in a dreamy micro wedding this past summer. And photographer Elsa Boscarello was there to capture every magical moment!

The couple met through Teach For America (TFA), a national non-profit, during an inaugural conference for Asian American educators and made their love official at the breathtaking Tahoe Blue Estate.

One of their highlights included peeking out of their suite's window to watch their guests arrive at their ceremony site. "Also seeing our guests react to the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe, mix and mingle, and rock their freshest post-pandemic outfits. It was amazing having a smaller wedding and having the opportunity to spend time with our family and friends!" the couple explained.

The duo got married in a western and cultural ceremony. "Our cultural ceremony was so special to us. We're proud that we showcased a blend of our Korean and Chinese heritage in a way that's meaningful to both our families and us."

If Ki and Sarah could do one thing differently, they would recommend doing the things that feel authentic to you and your loved ones. "Don't worry too much about having the picture-perfect wedding. It'll be more memorable if you find small ways to make it special for you and/or your family. On a side note, find yourself a great photographer. You'll be looking at those pictures to relive those moments!"
