There’s really nothing like being out in the wind and waves of Lake Tahoe on the Tahoe Cruz, a 50 foot sailboat captained expertly and graciously by Tahoe Sailing Charters. And when we saw Noah and Landrey’s summer sailing proposal aboard the Tahoe Cruz, we knew we had to share it with you!
This sweet couple met at Simpson University and a romance slowly blossomed there. This summer, their two families came together for a week at a gorgeous Lake Tahoe home, enjoying an epic vacation full of hiking, paddle boarding, volleyball, and board games, as well as just hanging out and getting to know each other at the lake.
Landrey tells us she had some suspicion that a proposal might happen on the trip, but no idea when or how. So when Noah popped the question during a sunset sail, with their families and photographer Willow & Ben on board, it was a total surprise. Of course, their engagement photos are pure Tahoe magic!
After the sunset cruise, the two families enjoyed a celebratory lakeside dinner at the West Shore Cafe, sitting under the twinkling lights and listening to the lapping waves. Congratulations Landrey and Noah – we’re certain that you and your loved ones will never forget this perfect Tahoe day!
