Winter Wedding Wonderland At Lake Tahoe

We love a couple who isn't afraid of a little snow on their wedding day and, truth be told, a late Fall or Winter wedding in Lake Tahoe is a great way to take advantage of the off season for events. Indoor celebrations won't be happening this year due to the pandemic, but if you are thinking about a Winter elopement this post is for you!

For this styled shoot, Mountain Thyme Events partnered with photographer

Holly Shankland

to create an elevated boho elopement and the unexpected dusting of snow made it all the more magical. We can't get enough of the frosting of fresh flurries on the gorgeous wildflower florals by

Love and Lupines

!

Models Justine and Kyle are mountain locals who were more than ready to roll with the change in weather as

officiant Meredith Richmond

"reenacted" their wedding ceremony for the shoot (we

published their real wedding

earlier this year.) This time around, Justine wore a lace applique gown by Rue de Seine.

Mountain Thyme Events built the rustic arch positioned near the lake and used rentals from

Celebrations!

and Tahoe Rustic Rentals to create a romantic, jewel-toned sweetheart table. The cake by Cornerstone Bakery, decorated with feathery shapes in soft, deep tones of blue and rose, accented the beautiful tablescape.

Have these talented Tahoe wedding vendors inspired you to consider a Winter elopement?
