So Much to be Thankful For

Thanksgiving is about bringing friends and family together and what better way to do that then with a wedding. With delicious food, fantastic fall colors and the family vibe that Thanksgiving curates, a Thanksgiving wedding is nothing short of a great time. The end of November is gorgeous in Lake Tahoe. While some could say that it is a bit chilly, and there is a chance of potential snow, it is a highly underrated time of year in Tahoe.

Thanksgiving began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing and the harvest of the preceding year but turned into a day of giving thanks for everything and everyone in your life. What a beautiful foundation for your marriage. Thanksgiving has also turned into a day of food and with a Turkey dinner, cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes how could anyone want anything more. The beauty of a Thanksgiving wedding is to take advantage of these traditions and turn them into your own! How brilliant does a Thanksgiving dinner as your wedding dinner sound?? Or a pile of pumpkin, apple and berry pies for dessert instead of wedding cake? And fall colored decorations and flowers are stunning to begin with, but pair that with a roast turkey and you'll create a wedding your guests will never forget.

With the Lake as your backdrop and your closest loved ones around you, a Thanksgiving wedding is not only delicious but full of so much love and joy for so many reasons.
