The History

The Olympic Valley Stables, formerly known as the Squaw Valley Stables, is a venue rich in history. This premiere location holds the story of the great pioneer Bud Jones and remittance of the horses that roamed the meadow for centuries. The Stables once operated as a riding stable but now function primarily as an event venue.

The Romantic Rustic Vibe

Once you step foot into Olympic Valley Stables, the rustic vibe just oozes over you. From the barn to the tent and teepee, the stables offer an unparalleled experience where rustic meets elegant in the best way possible. They are in the process of adding bridal suites on-site too.

The Owners

Michael Pavel and his family have owned the stables since the mid-80s. His grandfather purchased the stables and Michael has turned the stables into a premier Tahoe wedding venue. He truly loves what he does and wants each couple to have a magical experience. He also owns Crepe Hearts, a food truck that specializes in plant-based vegan food and delicious crepes! Crepe Hearts is available to cater to weddings as well. Spend any amount of time with Michael and you will know that he truly loves what he does and finds the stables just as magical as couples who get married there.
