A Garden-Inspired Wedding at Hellman-Ehrman Mansion

In the heart of Lake Tahoe, amidst the towering pines and the glistening lake, Emily & Aaron's wedding was a testament to love, adventure, and the beauty of shared dreams. It is a beautiful blend of tradition, personalization, and the unpredictable magic that makes every Tahoe wedding uniquely unforgettable.

For the bride, Lake Tahoe held a special place in her heart, having spent summers there her entire life. The historic Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, perched on a grand hill overlooking the stunning lake, was the perfect venue for the 'summer garden party' theme with a sophisticated twist that perfectly mirrored the couple's style.

The couple carefully selected pastel colors to complement the lake's hues and opted for an eye-catching orange floral arch, adding a touch of boldness to the soft color palette. Mother Nature came to the party, too – ending the day with a stunning pink and purple sunset.

The florals stole the show with pastel blooms and a vibrant orange arch, which represented happiness and celebration to Emily & Aaron. The transition of the arch from the lakeside ceremony to the sweetheart dinner table created a bold and memorable statement.

The culinary experience was a highlight, featuring Veuve Clicquot champagne during the cocktail hour and a California cuisine dinner with locally sourced ingredients. For dessert, the four-layered wedding cake delighted guests and added a sweet touch to the celebration with unique flavors, including coconut, vanilla with earl-grey buttercream, chocolate ganache, and a key lime and blackberry 'margarita.'

The bride's Pronovias gown and cathedral-length veil exuded elegance. Bridesmaids embraced individuality with pink floral dresses from various designers, adding to the vintage garden-party vibe. The groom and groomsmen's classic black tuxedos provided a timeless contrast to the vibrant bridesmaid dresses.

The couple curated a meaningful DJ setlist, weaving in songs that held significance throughout their lives. Every wedding guest, young and old, joined in on the dance floor, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and nostalgia. Unexpected rain turned into a magical moment as guests embraced the weather and 100 white umbrellas transformed the dance floor.
