Can you beat a beautiful day on Lake Tahoe? We think not (obviously)! And this beautiful wedding at West Shore Café, planned by Forget Me Knot Events & Design and captured beautifully by Loveridge Photography shows just how stunning a lake front wedding can be. Adorned with blush flowers & lush garland by B&B Designs, this wedding created a dreamy setting on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.
The bride’s biggest goal was to create a setting that made her large family & the grooms family all feel like they were sitting at their family table at home. To achieve this dream, they created long family style tables, just like a Sunday night family dinner. The contrast of crisp white linens with dark chairs created a rustic, romantic feel while lots of candles and long floral arrangements with accents of blush softened the look.
But, of course, what would a wedding be without a little hiccup? The weather decided to take a slight turn at the last minute and it actually was an unexpected first snow of the season. By using a clear tent draped in greenery, guests were still able to feel immersed in the great outdoors regardless of the weather. Even with the change in weather, the day was absolutely gorgeous. In Tahoe, you really never know when Lake Tahoe is going to put on a show for you – and it just adds to the excitement of the day!
