When you think of wedding ceremony locations in Lake Tahoe the options that come to mind are endless. A lakefront ceremony at a private estate, exchanging vows alongiside the river, saying I do on the top of a mountain, or celebrating your love in a historic lodge all come to mind. Everywhere you turn is seemingly another amazing venue. To help with your planning, we’ve narrowed it down to this list of our current favorites.
Dancing Pines
Dancing Pines is twenty acres of pure privacy and seclusion along the Little Truckee River. Owners Liz & Bryan Mettler, inspired by their own wedding, have created an incredible venue where the the tall pines of the Sierra high country offer a one-of-a-kind backdrop.
Olympic Valley Stables
The meadows and mountain of Squaw Valley create the perfect atmosphere for romantic ceremonies at Olympic Valley Stables, demonstrated here by Bachelor Nation’s Becca and Garrett. Twenty Mile House
Speaking of celebrity weddings, RHOBH’s Lisa Vanderpump officiated this Vanderpump Rules wedding at Twenty Mile House, a private property that boasts numerous historic buildings and a beautiful forested setting.
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe
The light breeze of Lake Tahoe and sweeping views await you at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, located in Incline Village. You can’t go wrong exchanging your vows along the lake while the sun sets over the Sierra.
Zephyr Lodge at Northstar California
Perched at 8,000 feet above the Martis Valley, Northstar’s Zephyr Lodge is unreal. With views of the Sierra you can’t go wrong saying I Do at Zephyr Lodge.
Private Estates
We love the possibilities that ceremonies at a private estate hold. Whatever your heart desires can be yours. You get to pick the location and with that you decide exactly where your ceremony will be. Private estates are gorgeous and unique, and their views are hands down always amazing.
Queen of the Snows
For those looking for a church ceremony, the Corpus Christi Catholic Church includes two chapels – Corpus Christi in Tahoe City and Queen of the Snows in beautiful Squaw Valley (shown above).
West Shore Cafe
The West Shore Cafe is quite possibly the most well-known wedding venue in all of Tahoe. Whether you want to say I do at the end of their amazing pier (like this gorgeous couple) or exchange your vows on the beautiful grassy lawn one things is for sure – you can’t go wrong with this view!
Edgewood Tahoe
Located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe are the main attraction at this picturesque location. Edgewood Tahoe is a stunning lakefront golf course offering an unforgettable lakeside ceremony location.
The Ritz- Carlton Lake Tahoe
Also a favorite, the Ritz Carlton-Lake Tahoe offers a picturesque slope-side location and elegant mountain atmosphere.
