Love Wins At This West Shore Wedding

Daniel and Robbie met in college at a birthday party but didn’t start dating until two years later, soon after they both moved to San Francisco. Like many Bay Area couples, weekend trips to Lake Tahoe allowed for long drives filled with deep conversations, as well as memory-making adventures with friends and family. After getting engaged, a wedding in Tahoe was the obvious choice!

After hiring Forget Me Knot Events + Design as a planner and booking the lakeside West Shore Cafe as their venue, Daniel and Robbie enlisted the talented Corey Fox as their photographer. And, as you can see in this post, their wedding photos are simply stunning!

Daniel and Robbie were clear that their number one priority for the wedding was FUN. “Everything else came second,” they added. And judging from the smiles in their photos, it’s safe to say their mission was accomplished. The pre-wedding “getting ready” time was a highlight for the couple, who quickly added that they honestly couldn’t pick a favorite part of the day.

The wedding’s color palette was black, white, and grey – with a spot of leopard thrown in for good measure. Daniel and Robbie’s minimalist cake was created by the dessert chefs at the West Shore Cafe, served with a toast of “Love Wins” Cuvee.

Truly, for all the fun and celebration on their special day, love really was the highlight in every way. Their 20 minute ceremony was shared with practically everyone in the world they love and, as the couple declared, “We made the people who say ‘I never cry at weddings’ cry anyway.”

What else can we say? Congratulations Daniel and Robbie – and hurray!!
