Lakefront Tahoe Wedding with a Tropical Twist

From the Planner:

After nearly a year of planning, Emilia +Cameron welcomed just over 100 guests to celebrate their big day at the Hyatt at Incline Village. Planned from afar by 2Chic events who worked with the couple remotely (Emilia + Cameron reside in Southern California) to plan the perfect day. Captured by Stephanie Russo, with florals by Bloomers Floral Design, the day could not have been more gorgeous. Emilia + Cameron have a connection to the Lake Tahoe area through Cameron’s family cabin in Truckee. Their friends and family came from near and far to witness the two of them to tie the knot on the shores of Lake Tahoe.

Emilia had her heart set on a few things. Including proteas in her floral design and finding the most stunning bridal party dresses in this history of ever. With the assistance of 2Chic Events on the design and planning, they managed to work together to bring Emilia’s tropical Tahoe wedding to life just perfectly.

From the Bride:

My tips for planning a magical Lake Tahoe wedding: Plan the wedding that you want, not what you think you’re supposed to have. We threw tradition out the window and made our wedding a big party! It was exactly what we wanted, and our guests had so much fun. They still ask us if we can all go back again to re-create that weekend.

Also, hire someone who knows what they’re doing! Unless you’ve done this before, you’re going to feel so overwhelmed without someone experienced on your side!

The Best Moment

The best moment of our wedding was seeing my husband so handsome and elated in his tux holding our beautiful daughter at the altar. I’ll never forget that moment. We loved the vibrant and fun atmosphere at the Hyatt Regency. It seriously cannot be beat! There’s something magical about late summer in Lake Tahoe, and I’m so glad our guests got to experience the beauty of it.
