When planning a wedding, it’s normal to hit a few bumps in the road. This also rang true for Kendal and Devon’s big day. At one point, their biggest worry was whether or not Kendal’s dress was going to arrive on time. But then, COVID-19 struck, followed by two postponements, two venue changes, and a few tough decisions.
Luckily, the couple didn’t let a few obstacles get in their way, and they finally exchanged vows in the picturesque Tahoe. Seeing that they recently purchased their first home together in nearby Truckee, this stunning, woodsy location was the logical backdrop.
With the help of some incredibly talented vendors, Kendal and Devon planned a beautiful ceremony and reception for their immediate families. They enlisted the help of floral talent, Love & Lupines, for the most remarkable triangular ceremony backdrop. And we can all agree that Kendal was a bohemian dream, glammed up by the beauty team, Kiss & Makeup Tahoe.

The vote was unanimous: One of the day’s highlights was when the couple’s officiant read aloud some notes from their close friends who couldn’t be there due to the pandemic. Now, if this doesn’t deserve a collective, ‘Ah!’ then nothing else does.
