As we boarded the wooden boat, we knew that this was the beginning of an unbelievable weekend that we would remember for the rest of our lives. Danielle Tolleson with Elise Events helped us plan our rehearsal dinner. All we had to do was tell her we wanted to have it on the water and the rest was history. She helped us select Gar Woods Grill & Pier. This has been a premier dining location in North Lake Tahoe for years.
As we drove up to the restaurant in Carnelian Bay, we could see our guests standing on the large deck, which provide breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierras. As we glided across the lake on the way to the rehearsal, we were in awe of how amazing everything was. Kari Spalinger with Gagewood Photo was snapping pictures of us and we were so relaxed and happy. It was the perfect way to start a weekend of a lifetime!
As we pulled up to the restaurant, we could see all of our wedding party and family standing on the balcony and cheering for us. We waved right back with excitement. When we walked into the restaurant, everything was staged perfectly. Vita Popov Studio made the most amazing and delicate seating chart. The greenery on every table made my B& B designs was awe-inspiring and made us even more excited for the big day. It was the most beautiful Tahoe summer day and greeting our guests while they were sipping on world-famous Wet Woody’s was so special to us. The chef created a menu highlighting California cuisine. All of the guests enjoyed the food and thought it was the perfect event to get off the weekend.
Looking back, we cannot think of any other way to being our wedding weekend. Just like our wedding day, every detail was perfect and the execution of the event was flawless!
