Kerri and Garrett’s ultra romantic Homewood wedding was filled with super sweet and silly moments. I’m thankful they asked me to capture everything so they can cherish those moments forever!

Kerri and Garrett got ready for their big day in separate home in Lake Tahoe – both beautiful as can be. Their gifts to their groomsmen and bridesmaids were so thoughtfully planned out. And I personally LOVED Kerri’s sweet details…from her romantic jewelry to her beautiful wedding invitations and ultra romantic wedding bouquet with velvet ribbon.

It was also fun getting to know Kerri and Garrett’s daughter, Reagan, during the preparation part of the day. She is such a sweet little munchkin and added a wonderful element of fun to their wedding.

This was my first time shooting a wedding at Homewood Mountain Resort, although I’m familiar with the West Shore Cafe across the way. But holy moly – that chair lift ride alone was so exciting. And then to be up on top of Lake Tahoe with the expanse of bright blue as your view during your wedding…perfection!

Kerri and Garrett’s ceremony was so full of sweet and tender moments, along with some great laughs. I can’t wait to see their wedding film by Chair 7 Films so I can relive those moments via cinema, too!

Since a devastating fire at Homewood wiped out Kerri and Garrett’s original reception venue, their reception was held at the Tahoe Maritime Museum. The setting was still gorgeous, as you could look up the mountain towards the top of Homewood. The patio was the perfect place for dinner and dancing. I’m glad it all worked out for Kerri and Garrett, because when I heard the news of the Homewood fire, my jaw literally hit the floor with worry for them. But it was gorgeous!
