How did the couple meet? They met in 2017 while working in Pleasanton, California. Their companies were in the same building.
Why did the couple choose Lake Tahoe? Or, what was the meaning behind choosing Lake Tahoe as their wedding destination?
They both grew up going there and loved it so much. It was Jordan’s number one choice and we wanted a resort so Tahoe was the best choice for us.
Can you share a few highlights or unique elements of the wedding day?
Their marriage officiant was Kaitlin’s uncle and he did such a good job. He was funny, personal, and well-spoken.
How did the couple personalize their wedding decor or experience for their guests?
One of their personalized elements was their seating chart which featured Lake Tahoe on wood attached to a blue wall with table names of various Tahoe areas around the lake. Kaitlin designed it on paper and then their wonderful vendor brought it to life. Also, they had a lot of vibrant colors in their florals.
What is one thing you would do differently, wish you knew, or would recommend to other couples?
it was a lot hotter than they thought it would be and in hind-sight they wished they had more table umbrellas. Their wedding planner has been following this blog and Instagram since they decided to have Tahoe as their destination.
