Eloping Under The Snowy Sierra In Hope Valley

When a couple’s love jumps off the pages it touches our hearts and we love to hear more about their story. When photographer Elizabeth Kotson shared Jordan and Kristina’s Hope Valley Elopement with us we could feel their sweet love just by looking at their pictures. Kristina and Jordan eloped in the Hope Valley with Kristina’s sister officiating and two of their closest friends as their only guests. They celebrated their union in South Lake at Tahoe Aleworx with pizza and beer. Sounds perfect to us! Elizabeth shared with us a little more about Kristina and Jordan’s picturesque elopement in the beautiful Hope Valley.

At first glance, Jordan and Kristina’s love story is the plot of a teen novel, set in their hometown of Roseville. It’s a story we all know; star high school football player steals the heart of a bubbly cheerleader and the two spend years stealing glances under those Friday night lights. But when their love was still young, a spinal injury and a long-distance separation brought their storybook love a hefty dose of reality. Kristina and Jordan persevered and after eight years and four moves later, the two tied the knot in Hope Valley. Kristina’s sister officiated their wedding and two of their closest friends served as their witnesses. Their sweet ceremony was as beautiful as they are. They celebrated with pizza and beer in their finest wedding attire at Tahoe Aleworx in South Lake. The sweetest!
