This fun filled mountain formal wedding at Cheshire Estate in Lake Tahoe catered and planned by Butter+Salt was not only stunning but filled with personal touches from the couple. Captured by Kay Kroshus and Tony Castaneda the night was filled with dancing, good food and so much love.
From the Bride:
Bryan and I got engaged the day after my birthday on March 10th, 2017. Shortly after I moved to Reno with him and began the wedding planning process. At first we began planning around a 200 person wedding because I have such a big family, but after some deep contemplation we decided on a more intimate reception. With the help of Jordan O’Laskey of Butter+Salt, we truly made our dreams come to life. We had an entire week to celebrate, eat delicious food, and bask in the perfect Lake Tahoe weather. We had a personal barre class at the house, the men golfed, we had a lake day, and the rehearsal dinner was French themed in honor of Bryan’s family heritage.
About the Wedding:
For the theme of the wedding I went with a “mountain formal” theme. I wanted it to be glamorous and high-end, but still earthy and natural. We had such a PARTY and danced the night away and the night was just filled with so much love. The week went by too fast, but I don’t regret a single choice. Nothing is better than spending quality time with your best friends, family, great food, music, and wine while being in one of the most breathtaking places on earth. We could not have asked for a more beautiful week! Thank you to all our vendors for being a part of this special time in our lives, and a special thanks to our family and friends that spent time and money to join us. We are eternally grateful!
