Rain on your wedding day is widely considered a sign of good luck. And that was also the case at Jessica and Parsa’s beautiful Persian wedding at Heavenly Mountain Resort.
Their love story began at a bar in Reno. Even though they were not interested in each other at first, they decided to go on a date a week later. Needless to say, the chemistry was there, and they hit it off. Then one night, when Parsa and Jessica got home from a dinner date and walked through the door, there was a candle-lit rose petal walkway out to the backyard, leading to a table with a poem, wine, and roses. To top it off, Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley was playing in the background. How is that for making things official?!
Staying true to her inner romantic, Jessica opted for a clean, bright, and elegant design with rustic touches. Her wedding vision resulted from years and years of Pinterest searches and seeing other weddings on television and in magazines. The location was also a no-brainer, seeing that the couple had spent quite a bit of time in South Lake Tahoe when they were dating. “It is just a beautiful destination for all of our family, and it’s so close to home for us. It was raining on and off all afternoon, but that didn’t stop anyone from enjoying the celebrations and having fun,” said Jessica.
