This darling elopement planned by The Hytch and photographed by Elsa Boscarello featured donuts, champagne and a stunning sunset shoot above Donner Lake. Filled with love and laughter the intimate ceremony was nothing short of perfect.
The Engagement as told by the bride:
“As we planned the elopement together I thought I had missed my engagement moment. Nathan however had planned it all along. He had phoned my parents in Australia and had asked permission to which they were thrilled and gave their blessing. At sunrise out on the boardwalk on a private beach in Tahoe, Nathan got down on one knee and popped the question. I cried happy tears at possibly the best surprise I have ever received. That sunrise will forever be the most beautiful we will ever share together.”- Jeanette
Shortly after the proposal they eloped! They made it official at a dock in Donner Lake, where they exchanged vows, and enjoyed the epic views the area has to offer. The couple said their favorite moments from the day were seeing each other in their wedding attire for the first time as well as saying their vows and promising to love each other for the rest of their lives. The two followed their intimate doughnut dinner for two with a sunset stroll on the peaks around Donner and spent the next few days feeling the love of family and friends. Their future plans include traveling the world, starting a family and living everyday with love and laughter.
