Tahoe Unveiled

Hope you all had a lovely and very Happy Thanksgiving! Since the heavens have opened and dumped tons of fabulous snow in Tahoe, I thought it was only fitting for this winter wonderland wedding to appear on the blog today! Coordinated by yours truly from One Fine Day and captured by Mike Larson Photography. Jessica and Jon decided to say their vows on the top of the mountain....during a snow storm! They really wanted snow and boy did they get it! Large puffy snow flakes blanketed the ceremony, as guests cuddled together with hand warmers and hot toddys! You definitely have to be up for a challenge in this setting, and thankfully all of their guests were troopers. Shortly after the wedding, everyone headed down the Squaw Valley Cable Car to PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn for a lovely, warm reception.

Chandeliers hung from the wooden beams, oversized glass vases held wicker sticks, burlap overlays covered the tables, a collection of unique vases held the simple cream and green flowers, and candles surrounded the room to create a romantic ambiance. The mood was warm, romantic, and very glamorous! Guests enjoyed cozy comfort food for dinner including mac n' cheese, hot soup, & pot pies! The following day, a few enjoyed the fresh snow on the slopes while others met in the Blue Coyote for Bloody Mary's! All in all, a gorgeous celebration!
