Hi! Christie here from Hindsight Bride, and I am just tickled pink (pun intended) to be here on Tahoe Unveiled a a guest blogger. I plan to blog once a week or so, so keep checking back! For my first post, I hope to delight you with little honeysuckle inspiration with rustic, mountain flair. First Row: Melissa Musgrove via Marry You Me Second Row: First Comes Love Third Row: Lisa Lefkowitz via Style Me Pretty | Ashley Garmon via Style Me Pretty Honeysuckle is Pantone's hot new color for 2011. It's far from an ordinary run-of-the-mill pink. According to Pantone, this reddish pink "elevates our psyche beyond escape, instilling the confidence, courage and spirit to meet the exhaustive challenges that have become part of everyday life." Well goodie! Planning a wedding can be tough. We brides sometimes need all the verve and vitality we can get. Whether it boosts psychic vitality or not, at the end of the day, honeysuckle is bold and fun, perfect for a bride with both style and sass. Waite via 100 Layer Cake I find that with such bold colors, too much of a good thing is not so good. To avoid the matchy-matchy look, vary your tones and hues a bit. Throw in a traditional pink or and orangy pink to add interest and variety while sticking to your overall color theme.
