Jenelle from Tahoe Rustic Rentals is on the blog today, sharing her beautifully curated holiday lounge area. The perfect, cozy addition to any winter wedding in Lake Tahoe. You can't find a better place to spend the holidays than Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. It may be chilly during this time of year but we can't get enough of the crisp air and bright sunshine. We had the opportunity to shoot at a newer venue in the area, Dancing Pines. Their beautiful cobblestone path that leads down to The Little Truckee River is what really inspired us! We had just had our first storm of the season and remnants of the white snow could be seen on the hillsides.

We wanted to create an ideal lounge area for a classic, Lake Tahoe winter or holiday wedding. We brought in some of our favorite rental pieces including two plush accent chairs and our hand built coffee and end table. We chose from our collection of assorted brass candlesticks and inserted vibrant red roses to match our cozy plaid blankets! Lanterns and mercury votives rounded out or rustic holiday look.

We think it's important for your guests to have a place to relax and interact, whether it be during your cocktail hour or on the side of the dance floor! A Lounge is an easy and affordable way to add a unique space to your event. Of course it is important to take the weather into account so we set up a blanket station for guests to keep warm!

Working with AB Photo was a dream. She captured the mood of both our lounge and the venue, so perfectly. We already can't wait to come back and see this beautiful place under a blanket of snow!
